ReplyDeleteNice job. I really enjoy your music and you timed it very well with your shapes. The introduction was a bit long. However, it transitioned nicely into the descriptions of your font. You might want to try a bit of emphasis using scale or color in your last few frames with your name. Your animation is done very nicely and the transitions are very good. That last pop of color or scale would give some nice closure to the animation. Otherwise, excellent job.
I agree with Caitlin about the music choice, it works very well with your shapes and the overall 'feel' of your animation. I like how you focused on the main distinguishing characteristic of Memphis, the slab serifs, and used that to bring in your text, and to base your animation off of. You did a nice job with your transitions and the effects you used in flash. I think that the introduction could have possibly either been shortened, or somehow incorporate info about your font sooner, although it does match up nicely with your song as is. Good job though, I like your concept!
